Porto Martins natural pool is just upfront the apartments and is one of the best and most famous bathing sites in Terceira island. With a gorgeous view to the parish of Porto Martins, the pool is big and well sheltered, therefore it is a great place to swim whenever the ocean is a bit more agitated, although the ocean here is calm for most of the time.

 

The pool is also a good place for children because it features a shallow sandy area and has the Blue Flag certification meaning that the water quality meets the highest quality standards. The bathing area of the pool also features an access to the open sea, this access has a floating platform* and is a joy to those who like to swim in crystal clear waters.
